At NRV, we offer a Video Library Program in which we shoot 48 videos for you in one day. This quantity of videos often sounds outrageously unrealistic to anyone who has had a video crew in their office to shoot a TV commercial, in which footage for perhaps only one or two thirty-second commercials is completed.
Our program is completely different from such a television shoot in preparation, execution, delivered product, and follow-up.
Whereas in a TV advertisement you may have appeared on camera repeatedly for 25 seconds delivering the same self-promotional lines in multiple takes, the content of the message and the practice leading up to the Video Library shoot are something else entirely. You will be shooting 48 1-3 minute videos in which you discuss 48 topics that are of great interest to your ideal customers. These are topics in which you are an expert because of your line of work, and you are addressing questions for which your customers are seeking answers. You will be directly helping your customers in a personal manner through video. We will work with you to develop these topics, and we will guide you as you practice presenting these explanations in preparation for the shoot.
On the day of the shoot, you will be prepared to explain each of these topics in succession, on camera. If you make mistakes, you can repeat it until you get it right, and the mistakes will be edited out. We will move on to one topic after another, and in the course of a day from roughly 8am to 5pm, we will have shot the footage for your 48 videos in one day.
After the shoot is completed, we take the raw video files, back them up, and edit them to prepare for publication. Instead of perhaps a few minutes of completed video for broadcasting, you will have 48 videos on 48 topics, each running 1-3 minutes each. These videos are the best way for you to interact with your ideal customer, and there really is the opportunity for interaction – You are anticipating their questions and providing answers, and these videos are published in a way that the ideal customer can respond and begin a conversation.
When your videos and corresponding blog articles are delivered, you can (and should) integrate them into your content calendar… As they are released to your YouTube Channel and published on your website, also push the blog articles (with the embedded videos) and the videos themselves through your social media channels. Use them to start conversations and truly interact with your target market.
